You will serve as a SUPVERVISORY SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER in the Mission Support Division, code 125100 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will serve as the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative for SOH an IH contracts.
You will plan the long-range SOH and IH programs and determines what program deficiencies and information gaps exist.
You will prepare statements of work for inclusion in contracts describing goods and services to be furnished and outlined technical requirements and supporting data.
You will manage industrial hygiene projects under contract.
You will evaluate work performances of subordinates.
You will prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will represent NRL at meetings, seminars, and workshops.
You will coordinate technical problems with appropriate personnel within NRL and other federal agencies in determining Navy action for compliance.
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (NO-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Managing a safety and occupational health program for an organization; 2) Applying safety and occupational health laws, regulations, principles, theories, practices, and procedures to advise on and resolve technical matters dealing with occupational safety and health requirements; 3) Identifying developmental and training needs of employees; and 4) Assigning work to subordinates based on priorities.
