You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC) of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BLAZ.

Duties
You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices.
You will perform studies or assist with others with full scale studies.
You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers.
You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems.
You will perform a variety of fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This is a Financial Management Level I Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. This certification level must be achieved within prescribed timelines.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing financial oversight, budget formulation, and/or budget execution in order to analyze and evaluate changes in program plans and funding; AND interpreting standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
