This position is located at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General (HUD OIG), Office of Operations, Human Capital Management. As a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations), you will serve as the center point for planning, developing, managing, advising, and evaluating employee relations programs for HUDOIG. Provide oversight/advisory services to management officials on matters dealing with management-employee relations and policies/procedures.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience: For the GS-14 level you must meet the specialized experience requirements for this position, with at least one full year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent. This experience, as provided below, should have equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position. This specialized experience includes: - Planning, developing, managing, advising, and evaluating employee relations programs; AND - Serve as the principal advisor to higher level management officials in identifying and resolving employee relations issues; AND - Participates in the overall administration of performance management by providing management advisory services; AND - Development of procedures, or assessment of program operations, communications or design. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
