Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Supervisory Social Science Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Planning, managing, organizing, and directing programs carried out by professional statisticians, public health scientists, and social science analysts.
Providing leadership and direction on scientific, technical, and administrative matters.
Representing an organization in dealing and negotiating with individuals representing agencies, State and local public health departments, national and international health organizations, professional and voluntary health organizations, and public interest groups.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications: Must meet one of the items listed below:
Possess a 4-year bachelor's or higher degree in behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position from an accredited college or university. (Must provide transcripts)
Possess a combination of education and experience -- that provided you with the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (Must provide transcripts)
Possess four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
-AND-
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3)of the following:
Provide technical guidance to enhance public health evaluation, quality improvement, and performance measurement and/or monitoring activities.
Providing leadership and direction in the areas of health care and/or surveys.
Managing social science and/or public health programs.
Participating in strategic planning of public health plans, programs, and/or activities.
