Duties
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects related to non-tactical vehicle operations within NIWC Atlantic.
You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, maintain fleet efficiency, and uphold safety standards.
You will oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of company vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition for operation.
You will stay abreast of all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to vehicle operations, and ensure adherence to them.
You will maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including registration, insurance, and maintenance history
You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution of Command supplies.
You will coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs and optimizing inventory levels.
You will identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions in supply, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or NO-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing administrative and management policies and principles, planning, research, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution of supplies and safety standards governing vehicle operations.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree
