You will serve as a Selection Board Program Manager in the Selection Board Support Division of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Duties
You will manage the multimillion-dollar annual Promotion and Selection Board budget and perform associated financial management actions.
You will oversee the coordination and execution of the Active Duty (AD) and Full Time Support (FTS) travel budgets to support board participants.
You will prepare and distribute travel order guidance and Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations, approvals, and vouchers for board participants.
You will manage ground transportation, billeting, food service, and other critical support items relating to board participants, sponsors, and administrative support staff.
You will conduct assessable unit reviews associated with the Management Internal Control Program (MICP) in accordance with the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act.
You will utilize automated information, digital imaging, and word processing systems to accomplish selection board functions and maintain the accuracy and currency of the Navy Personnel Command Web Page concerning board schedules.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Overseeing the coordination and execution of travel budgets and other administrative, technical, and logistical support for promotion and selection boards; 2) Ensuring regulatory compliance and effective management, acquisition, and maintenance of resources to meet operational requirements; 3) Monitoring and reporting the obligation and expenditure of funds, including reviewing invoices for accuracy and validation; 4) Operating various automated information systems, digital imaging, and word processing systems associated with promotion and selection boards; and 5) Coordinating ground transportation, billeting, food service, and other critical logistical support
