About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Organization consists of the division office, Supply Management Branch and Services Branch. Responsible for managing, analyzing, and making appropriate adjustments to inventory in each Warehouse. Promotes an environment in which employees are empowered to participate in and contribute to effective mission accomplishment. Develops long range plans and goals for special projects and production-oriented work. Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements. Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
