You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (APPSW) in the SOFTWARE ENGINEERING (54000) of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.

Duties

You will provide organization-wide guidance and advice on how to implement and manage software processes. You will apply knowledge on software integration for Naval Networks primarily at Operation Medicine sites. You will conduct reviews and assessment focused on interoperability and management of risk. You will apply knowledge of enterprise information technology (IT) architectural concepts and patterns to include baseline and target architectures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Facilitating Navy requirement for OPMED products to include advance planning for afloat installations, coordinating install schedules, software configuration management and CASREP response and management. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. 1.
