About the Position: The mission of the CCAD is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, chemical, metallurgical and training support.

Duties

Coordinates with engineers and other functional personnel responsible for other disciplines/projects to ensure proper integration of total engineering systems/projects. Controls and manages project milestones from planning through the construction/manufacture of initial operations. Checks installation and operation of equipment to evaluate performance and possible modification to increase versatility and performance. Coordinates, analyzes and interprets considerable, incomplete, or conflicting data in the formulation of complex project plans.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: (1) Develop and configure programmable logic controllers and data acquisition systems, (2) plan, coordinate, and supervise major repair and modification projects, (3) develop designs of industrial process and automatic test equipment. My resume reflects current or past experience performing these tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Education
