This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Support Services , located in Kansas City, Missouri and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Salary: The salary range indicated in this announcement will be adjusted to include locality payment for selected duty location. Duties

As a Supervisory Child Support Program Specialist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Performs studies and analysis related to the most effective and efficient use and management of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) resources. Reviews information, reconciling conflicting data, and devising new and modified methods to analyze findings. Participates in outreach opportunities, conferences, workshops, and webinars, to communicate with State and Tribal leaders, professional associations, industry, and academia. Prepares various comprehensive status reports, management summaries, and briefing papers.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Basic AND Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below. Basic Requirement: You must meet one of the items listed below (A, B, or C):A. Possess a 4-year bachelor's or higher degree in behavioral or social science from an accredited college or university; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. (Must provide transcripts)B. Possess a combination of education and experience -- that provided you with the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (Must provide transcript)C. Possess four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Specialized Experience: GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Experience working for a Federal, State, Local, or Tribal child support agency. Analyzing the statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements of the child support program. Providing technical advice or assistance to ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations of the child support program. Coordinating and implementing child support program activities in collaboration with other program offices. Documenting Experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
