About the Position: Serve as a Housing Manager reporting to the Chief Housing Division located in the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at a large multi-mission installation.

Duties

Recommends awards and bonuses, and changes in position classification for subordinates. Represents the organization in installation level meetings and or at various conferences and meetings with local officials and other federal, state, or legal organizations concerning current housing programs, practices, and trends. Provides technical housing expertise and assistance to garrison Commander/Manager and other installation staff in representing Department of the Army (DA), Army Command, and garrison objectives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has been designated Mission Essential.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
