About the Position: Serves as the Housing Division Chief and the Residential Communities Initiative Manager. Serves as subject matter expert addressing and resolving installation, local community, state and private sector official issues in support of the on-post and off-post housing and centralized barracks management programs.
Duties
Provides oversight for major construction and execution of the Community Development Management Plan.
Serves as the chief liaison between the Partnership/LLC and Garrison Command Staff and managers.
Develops overall housing management plans for non-privatized housing functions to support leased housing, unaccompanied personnel housing/barracks, contract management, budget, facilities/infrastructure management, and Housing Services Office.
Supervises and directs the work of division personnel.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter on Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
