As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position serves as an Environmental Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Program Support Center Manager within Technical Operations.

Duties

Position reports directly to the Technical Operations, Technical Services Organization, EOSH Support Operations Group (ESOG) Manager and directs the work of subordinate employees at the organizational level.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

Specialized ExperienceCandidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility that is appropriate to the position. To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 grade level.Specialized experience: includes demonstrating experience providing technical and administrative direction to a diverse workforce. Demonstrating experience handling routine projects and team tasks in accordance with established FAA policies, procedures, and guidelines. Experience in analyzing and optimizing System Support Center (SSC) and/or National Airspace System (NAS) facilities and services.Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.This is not a bargaining unit position.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
