As a Program Specialist with the Solution Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) program, you will be responsible for administering, leading, advising on, or performing/providing analytical, planning, and evaluative work related to the administrative and operational aspects of NASA's programs and management. The work requires analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and knowledge of a substantial body of administrative program principles, concepts, policies, and objectives.
Duties
Provide written and oral communication techniques sufficient to develop and deliver briefings, project papers, status/staff reports, and correspondence to managers to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
Write, gather, develop, and check the accuracy of information by researching and by interviewing with Contract Officers, program officials, and policy makers.
Research, learn and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve products and services.
Edit and write memorandums, letters, handbooks, and a wide variety of other written communications necessary for the operation of solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement.
Coordinate strategic planning efforts and advise/consult on business-related variables that affect planning, integration, coordination, and critical management concerns.
Track planning and programming actions/functions; ensure integration of all financial/business elements for projects (e.g., NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) and Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level:
Supporting the development of insights and solutions to business-related problems, policies, or issues;
Preparing or presenting responses to procurement inquiries on complex issues
Preparing administrative or management reports for presentation to management or leadership.
