Duties

Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages. Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag. Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility. May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Attend Team Member Orientation (TMO) within 30 days of employment
• Must be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division supports. The events include, but not limited to, Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, Children’s Fest, and Winterfest.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, is required.
• Must be available to work to Days and Evenings
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess 1. Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. 2. Skill in providing customer service. 3. Ability to communicate effectively. Best Qualified Criteria: Candidates who possess 1. Possess at least six (6) months of Barista experience. And 2. Possess at least six (6) months experience as a Lead / Supervisory position in a restaurant or coffee shop. And 3. Possess at least six (6) months experience in training staff. *Applicant who meets minimum qualifications and best qualified criteria will be referred to the selecting official first.
