You will serve as an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) Training Standardization Specialist in the Air Traffic Control Division, S-3 Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.
Duties
You will compile data and analyze data aviation/air traffic operations, runaway usage, special use airspace usage, track ATC training time, and manpower shortages and projections.
You will prepare and disseminate detailed monthly, annual and biennial reports; updates to Facility Manual and other facility publications; and prepare official correspondence.
You will maintain detailed training jackets for all civilian and Marine controllers for duration of employment/tour of duty.
You will maintain critical office supplies and ATC supplies and maintains related budget.
Requirements

- You will be required to possess a valid and current Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) or possess a Control Tower Operator Certificate.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying comprehensive knowledge of ATC regulations, directives, policies, and practices to analyze and evaluate program operations for efficiency and effectiveness; 2) Gathering data and using it to analyze trends across operational, training, and manpower realms; and 3) Creating and editing documents (e.g. official correspondence, reports, publications) and maintaining databases.

Education
in lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
