Duties
You will conduct layouts, installation, and repair of structural electrical wiring and components.
You will work independently on projects and assists Journeyman.
You will inspect, maintains, repairs and installs facility heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigerating, food service equipment, motor vehicles, production support equipment and other mechanical components.
You will perform preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment consisting of visual operating, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting and replacing parts to ensure trouble free operation of the equipment serviced.
You will utilize hand and hydraulic benders, meters and other electrical or electronic test equipment as well as a wide variety of hand and power tools.
You will Interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams or manuals to repair or install systems or equipment.
You will dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
You will follow general maintenance and operations trade (e.g., plumbing, painting, electrical, mechanical, structural) safety practices and guidelines in completing assignments.
Requirements

- This position requires rotating shift work.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current MHE license.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position comes in direct physical contact with solvents, oils, grease, paints, and other raw products used in the mechanical trades.
