THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST-TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD1957000 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard.

Duties

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST-TITLE 32, GS-0346-9, you will manage customer training and provide the Logistics Readiness Squadron forces with training and resources for deployed operations. Review and evaluate all operations, deployment, contingency and exercise plans to ensure mission readiness for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. Analyze exercise and contingency plans to determine required Logistics Readiness Squadron actions in support of mission requirements. Develop training, conduct and or coordinate formal classroom training, to include readiness deployment training for all Squadron personnel. Compile and update status of Logistics Readiness Squadron, to include tracking and reporting of personnel, training, equipment and supplies. The position is responsible for generation of reports and for the assignment of proper security, classification and storage of classified documents. Coordinate, develop, and administer management training programs for supervisory personnel. Develop local training programs to accommodate supply procedural changes, and coordinates changes to other career field areas as directed, to improve operational effectiveness when management indicators reflect potential trouble areas. Prepare, schedule, coordinate or conduct Supply Customer related Block Training. Manage and conduct inspections of all squadron training areas to ensure that records are maintained in accordance with established directives. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience involving detailed knowledge of logistical support operations (i.e supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. Experience planning and organizing work assignments. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
