About the Position: This position is located with the U.S Army Sustainment Command, 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Transportation Division, at Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Duties

Makes commercial reservations to ensure traveler is available to meet the port call. Authenticates travel orders utilizing an automated system such as Defense Travel System (DTS). Coordinates travel arrangements using automated systems. Assists customers in preparation of required documentation necessary for government directed travel. Provides counseling to all customers regarding travel entitlements. Reviews/verifies all itineraries and travel orders to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one -year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
