Duties

As a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst, GS-2003-09, manage the Retail Supply Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) in the Material Management Branch. Develop and establish controls to ensure that results of workload requirements identify systemic problems and enhance mission accomplishment. Perform a full range of supervisory personnel functions. Perform other related duties as assigned.

• This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.

APPOINTMENT STATUS: EXCEPTED This is a Dual Status Excepted Service Technician position in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Accessioning into this position is contingent upon verification of Secret Security Clearance *NOTE: If you're a new supervisor in the Federal Government civil service, you may have to complete a one-year probationary period. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Application must indicate at least 24 months experience, education, or training dealing with cost estimates, budgets or funding management. Experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support. Experiencein managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled.
