You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE, RESOURCES AND ASSESSMENT DIVISION, SUPPLY BRANCH of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.

Duties
You will apply supply and purchasing regulations, policies, and procedures to conduct searches to make purchases.
You will negotiate, award, and administer small purchases.
You will utilize Maximo or other system of record sufficient to enter, extract, and correct data, retrieve recurring reports and structure/retrieve specialized reports.
You will analyze requisition and procurement requests.
You will utilize eSystems including COGNOS and Business Management System (BMS) to obtain information, documents and reports.
You will use automated information systems, Business Logistics Applications (BLAs), and software such as Microsoft Office suite, GSA systems and FedMALL to order, retrieve, process and analyze data and orders.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to successfully complete training courses(such as the Department of Defense Government Purchase Card training) specified in the most current versions of the GCPC regulations and as directed by the GCPC Agency Program Coordinator.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical direction to cardholder's regarding proper use of the purchase card and assisting in resolving problems regarding monthly reconciliation, certification of payments submission of disputes, and legality of procurements; 2) Collecting and analyzing Supply Chain performance data and providing metrics based on data results; 3) Providing effective and timely purchasing support and oversight; and 4) Utilizing automated information systems to order, retrieve, process and analyze data and orders.

Education
Applicants that do not meet the specialized experience as described above may qualify with education or a combination of experience and education, as follows:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
