About the Position: Serve as Air Traffic Control Systems Desk Officer for the Commander, US Army Aeronautical Services Agency (USAASA) and the Director of Army Aviation (DAMO-AV)

Duties

Track the readiness levels of all assigned ATC systems at 88 Army Airfields and 24 Tactical ATC Companies to ensure manpower, funding, and spare parts are properly allocated to support operations. Analyze and identfy potential for joint ATC, AM, and airfields support programs with other Services and allied nations. Make recommendations for program requirements development, modernization strategies, and equipment integration to ensure the Army remains compliant. Develop Program Objective Memorandum (POM) for material and funding requirements for Fixed Base and Tactical ATC, AM and Airfield systems. Recommend research, funding, and material acquisition priorities to the Director, DAMO-AV for coordination across Aviation Enterprise. Participates in POM and budget execution/decrement analysis for assigned programs.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
