This is a trainee position in the Media Bureau’s, Audio Division.

THIS POSITION HAS POTENTIAL FOR ONE-TIME ACCELERATED PROMOTION IN 6 MONTHS. Upon satisfactory completion of an upward mobility training and developmental program the employee will be eligible for placement in a target position and grade of:
Title: Industry Analyst Pay Plan: GS Series: 1101 Grade: 09
An individual training plan will be designed for the individual selected and will cover the entire training period. The plan will specify developmental assignments involving on-the-job training as well as formal training courses. The training plan will correspond to the particular needs of the individual selected in order to meet the requirements of the target position.
Note: Further advancement will depend upon the ultimate full performance grade level of the position and involve normal career progression based upon future performance, availability of work and completion of regular qualifications and time-in-grade requirements.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
