About the Position: This position is with the U.S Army Sustainment Command, 406TH Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, located in Fort Walker, VA.

Duties

Utilize spreadsheets and/or queries to support inventories and/or other requests. Maintains stock record account for ammunition supplies. Maintain requisitioning objectives to provide adequate stocks of ammunition based on forecasted requirements. Analyze the results of applying guidelines and/or recommends changes. Prepare documentation for the disposal of ammunition residue.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has been designated Mission Essential.
  • In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as the Lautenberg Amendment.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
