This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Audiovisual Production Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA JOINT MULTIMEDIA DIV.
Duties
Serves as a National Military Command Center (NMCC) Production Branch Chief and senior producer/director. Oversees production support delivered by the Branch. Supervises military, civilian and defense contractor personnel.
Provides technical expert in the television, video, multimedia and visual information areas. Recommends new equipment and methods to improve productions in the studio and in remote video locations.
Serves as the Producer for creative multimedia audiovisual and television productions. Assumes full responsibility for all aspects of video productions from inception to completion.
Ensures all contracts, including work statement development, purchase request development, and contract executions are performed according to DISA JSSC policy.
Contributes to the preparation of budget justifications and provides input to Joint Staff Executive Agent and DISA budgets.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience with all aspects of audio visual and managing personnel and assets. Proficient in various facets of studio production, videography, video editing, video assignment scheduling, lighting, and audio production.
