About the Position: Serves as a Senior Television Production Specialist on the staff of the Television Services Division
of the Army Multimedia and Visual Information Directorate. Receives a variety of assignments in connection with television and multi-media productions.
Duties
Checks sets and lighting to ensure all elements are correct.
Directs the action of the participants .
Determines required or new visual material .
Institutes necessary script changes to enhance or facilitate the production.
Briefs and rehearses technical crew personnel .
Produces scripts for productions.
Selects professional or non-professional actors.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes editing audiovisuals using various software applications; preparing scripts and voice recordings for visual information productions; operating video, audio, and sound systems for podcasts, vodcast, and multimedia productions; reading out loud with contextual emotions and record voice utilizing appropriate recording devices/software.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-11 or equivalent).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
