This position is located in the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration, Associate Administrator for Management and Budget, Human Resources Division. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems), planning and directing personnel systems management operations. This position is Term Not-to-Exceed 2 years; eligible for all federal benefits.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
In order to qualify for a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems), NQ-201-03, GS-13/14 equivalent, you must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the NNSA pay band NQ-02 or GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks:
Performing integration and configuration management on HR systems for an organization; evaluating and testing HR information systems software; developing and reviewing reports and analyses; implementing and coordinating project plans and activities to meet an organization's objectives; evaluating the performance of a project team for an organization; presenting information regarding new services to customers; and advising system users on operational and policy changes on automated HR information systems.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
