About the Position: Serve as the Unit Program Coordinator, providing direct support to the Squadron Commander for the 96th Medical Group, Eglin AFB, FL.
Duties
Serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for all administrative support programs.
Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and deposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence.
Assists in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.
Acts as the point of contact for all newly assigned personnel.
Analyzes manpower documents for accuracy and ensures that products are distributed to customers.
Responsible for programs to include but not limited to, Government Travel Card (GTC), Defense Travel System (DTS) Admin, Government Purchase Card (GPC), and Civilian Timecard program.
Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft of 10% of the time

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated systems to perform administrative support programs; maintaining office procedures and files; and providing guidance and advice to staff in the organization on administrative and clerical duties. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
