As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.The incumbent will serve as a Senior Technical Operations Watch Officer (STOWO).
Duties
The STOWO serves as the Vice President of Technical Operations Services representative for all National Airspace System (NAS) systems and services. Has operational decision-making authority on behalf of the Vice President of Technical Operations Services. Directs FAA Operations in an effort to provide the safest and most efficient Air Traffic services at the national level and reports directly to the National Operations Group, AJW-B3.
Requirements

- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service.Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Experience includes: Experience with the acquisition and development of National Airspace Systems (NAS) programs and systems, operations and maintenance functions in field facilities; and the evaluation and performance of functions in District Offices, regional offices or headquarters.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Interviews: Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
