Duties

You will support research and development and conducts evaluation of military Positioning Navigation and Timing (PNT) equipment, including GPS Anti-Jam antenna systems. You will be required to represent Navy and DoD interests to upper managers and communicate results to program managers. You will be expected to work well in a laboratory team environment and perform GPS/Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) related work to include delivery of assured positioning, velocity and timing solutions. You will generate and review IPT products that include technical studies and reports, requirement and design documents, test procedures and reports, and project status reports and briefs.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conduct research and evaluation of navigation systems and/or Global Position Systems (GPS) in order to meet navy requirements.
