The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the supply operations support pertaining to aircraft parts ordering and control of aircraft supplies, parts, inventory and tools which include the monitoring of deferred parts, Due-In-From Maintenance (DIFM), Aircraft Down For Parts, Not Mission Capable Supply (NCMS), and Mission Capable Requirements (MICAP).
Duties
Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Ensures education in and compliance with security, safety, and health directives.
Conducts extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and
patterns.
Provides supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for equipment and/or parts requiring
special handling.
Determines stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs, and projected depletion.
Prepares recurring and special reports. Compiles statistics from data requiring substantial analysis, interpretation, and development of new formats.
Performs administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with team
members, related functions, and operating officials.

- Must be able to obtain and retain a State and Government drivers license. Occasional driving of pickup truck to Lawton area may be required.
- This position is subject to rotating shifts, weekends, and may be required to work overtime and uncommon tours of duty.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This is a Supervisory Position. A 1 year supervisory probationary period is required if applicant selected has not previously met this requirement.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Standard for Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, Supply Clerical and Technician Series, 2005.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06 grade level, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes thorough knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions and an intensive knowledge of local supply requirements to ensure supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for urgent, critical shortage, and other special items.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
l. Knowledge of personnel management and EEO policies, practices, and procedures.
2. Knowledge of governing supply regulations, procedures, and instructions.
3. Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods. Knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system.
4. Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material, such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc., to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems. Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve complex supply problems and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
5. Ability to receive, screen. review, and verify supply documents and resolve discrepancies. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
6. Knowledge of basic work unit safety, security and health directives.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
