You will serve as a Supervisory Integrated Prevention Coordinator in the Fleet and Family Support Program of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

Duties

You will possess the ability to direct and coordinate the work of professional employees to include assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of assignment difficulty and requirements and the employee's capabilities. You will possess knowledge of the social sciences as related to primary prevention programs in order to evaluate, consult, advise in a variety of settings. You will possess experience in effective prevention program activities to prevent destructive/problematic behaviors and promote healthy climate. You will lead collaborative efforts with diverse internal and external stakeholders and foster buy-in for crosscutting efforts to include senior leader support and advocacy. You will identify needs, trends, and performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Applying knowledge of the social sciences as related to integrated prevention programs in order to evaluate, consult, advise in a variety of settings; 2. Conducting effective prevention program activities to prevent destructive/problematic behaviors and promote healthy climate; 3. Leading collaborative efforts with diverse internal and external stakeholders and foster buy-in for crosscutting efforts to include senior leader support and advocacy; 4. Identifying needs, trends, and performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for process improvements; NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position. Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess successful completion of a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled OR
A combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
