Duties
A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government (Civil Service) is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected. The display of a salary range on this vacancy shall not be construed as granting an entitlement to a higher rate of pay.
Electrical: Performs all preventative maintenance, operational checks, repair, layout, installation, troubleshooting, tracing, locating defects, modification on and new and existing secondary electrical systems from transformers to final connections park wide.
Plumbing: Installs, modifies, and repairs new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment such as sewage, water, oil, and gas distribution systems and water closets, tubs, fire sprinkler systems, and showers, and lay out of such things as angles, arcs, and circles
Utilities Systems Repair-Operator: Work independently to troubleshoot, repair, modify, overhaul, test, calibrate and install a variety of multi component industrial and precision instruments and equipment.
Engineering Equipment Operator: Serves as a primary equipment operator. Operates one or more types of gasoline/diesel powered wheeled or crawler-type engineering and construction equipment with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 72,000 pounds to push, pull, move, transport, or load earth, gravel, sand, supplies, materials, equipment and refuse.
Position will operate mobile and fixed cranes.
Must have journey level skill in at least two of the following trade areas:
Electrical
Plumbing
Utilities Systems Repair-Operator
Engineering Equipment Operator

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:

Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
