As a Program Specialist you will be located within the Office of Human Resources and Administration (HR&A), Office of Resolution Management, Diversity and Inclusion (ORMDI). The position reports directly to the Chief of Reasonable Accommodation.
Duties
Assist with management of Agency's enterprise-wide database.
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Respond to inquiries and procedures regarding the Departmental Reasonable Accommodation Program.
Manage and track assigned reasonable accommodation caseload.
Provide training and technical advice on reasonable accommodation policy.
Process requests for reassignment as a reasonable accommodation program specialist.
Apply advanced HR principles, concepts, and practices related to reassignments provided under the Reasonable Accommodation Program.

To qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-11) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience is defined as work that involves (1) Evaluating reasonable accommodations cases to determine trends and other influences in an organization's climate (2) Providing technical counsel to management officials on reasonable accommodations; (3) Preparing, and conducting training and/or education on Reasonable Accommodations(4) Managing agency wide database for reasonable accommodations.
