This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Capital Access in Washington, DC or Herndon, VA. The incumbent is responsible for planning and implementing all phases of the Quality Control Program for one of the Centers, as assigned by the OC manager.
Duties
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will perform the following duties:
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period.
- This is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP).
- This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
GS-13: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service) obtained in either the private or public sector such as performing in-depth analysis of obligor's financial statements and earning potential of a variety of business enterprises to make recommendation for residential and commercial/business loan applications or servicing/liquidations actions, including a thorough working knowledge of a variety of collateral, business type, loan program and general economic conditions. Incumbent must also have experience develop and providing feedback or corrective action recommendations to others regarding financial services transactions. This experience must be reflected in your resume.
Serves as a Quality Control Specialist with technical subject-matter expertise in conducting performance audits of work completed by Loan Center personnel assigned to various departments, including commercial loan processing, servicing, resolution, and guaranty purchase, as well as disaster loan servicing and resolution.
