Duties
You will conduct ongoing needs assessments of the local military and civilian communities, the drug abuse situation and drug prevention needs.
You will track and report testing discrepancies, prepared data analysis reports and provides guidance as appropriate.
You will provide prevention education on illegal/wrongful substance abuse to personnel and specialized community groups.
You will conduct clear, concise, and understandable communications, both oral and written, with unit representatives.
You will ensure the smooth operation of the urinalysis program in installation-supported commands through facilitation of full implementation of the HQMC policy guidance.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Represent the Substance Abuse Program at meetings as required for addressing drug prevention and conducting inspections on the program as directed. Conduct ongoing needs assessments and update Needs Assessment survey questions based off local trends and continue to monitor reported outcomes. Ensure smooth operation of Urinalysis program and track and report all testing discrepancies found. Prepare, review, and maintain educational materials and provide prevention education on illegal/wrongful substance abuse.

Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
