This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The incumbent serves as a Radio Frequency (RF) propagation and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) subject matter expert with the U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC) to support organizational missions, goals, and plans

Duties

Coordinates and informs TENCAP senior and executive members, SES and below, to ensure a common position on programs and issues Reviews, evaluates, and balances technical efforts among various programs, and recommends methods to resolve identified problems Develops strategies to modernize resources for product development aligned with NSA, Army, and DoD policies. Integrates insights from Army Intelligence and Futures Command to meet evolving needs and constraints. Provides consultation to senior officials, influencing SIGINT program development and policy formulation. Facilitates technical coordination with DoD, government departments, academia, and industry. Coordinates among TENCAP members, evaluates technical achievements, and offers recommendations for improvement. Collaborates with managers to address technical challenges, support new business needs, and evaluate project progress. Ensures timely actions to meet technical requirements, assesses workload distribution, and advises on cost-effective contractual support.

Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirement for 0150 - Geographer: Basic Requirement for 800- General Engineer Basic Requirement for 855 - Electronics Engineering Basic Requirement for 1301 - Physical Scientist: In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience listed below: Specialized experience includes one year of experience to include 1) ability to provide technical guidance and support to the TENCAP Program; and 2)experience with Radio Frequence (RF)/Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) sciences, system engineering, and SIGINT enterprise operations, complemented by proficiency in digital processing, analysis, visualization; and/or 3) experience in technical writing or oral communication, crucial for effective project solutions; and/or 4) experience in directing complex technical programs from planning through delivery while supporting business development initiatives This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
