Duties

You will provide facilities management support to the directorate. You will coordinate production control efforts by obtaining workload data to track progress and ensure effective use of resources and completion of work. You will support the directorate by performing maintenance ticket trend analysis and effectiveness, efficiency, and production operations. You will communicate with the customer when facility issues are identified and ensure that material orders, schedules and reports are inclusive of all requirements. You will plan, budget, and execute the operating budget in support of command facilities by providing reports and analyzing current-year budget execution.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialzied experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of facilities maintenance, repair, construction, and alteration sufficient to provide facilities management support for a wide range of special purpose buildings, structures, and facilities..
