Duties
You will advise managers on the use of position classification options (e.g., accretion of duties, position re-descriptions, position reviews, impact of the person on the job).
You will review personnel actions in progress to ensure adherence to policy and compliance with negotiated agreements.
You will advise hiring managers on the procedural and regulatory requirements governing the recruitment process.
You will analyze the duties of a position to determine the correct title, pay plan, series, and grade level.
You will coordinate with customers (e.g., Operations Center, Managers, Human Resources Offices, other organizations) to resolve issues with recruitment actions.
You will advise managers on multiple human resources functions (e.g., recruitment/staffing, pay setting, reduction-in-force).
Requirements

Qualifications
FOR THE GS-11 GRADE LEVEL:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing recruitment, reassignment, and other personnel actions in accordance with federal laws, policies, rules, and regulations; 2) Reviewing and analyzing position descriptions utilizing federal classification standards; 3) Answering questions and providing guidance on staffing and position classification problems utilizing human resources tools and systems; 4) Sending the Request for Personnel action (RPA) to appropriate inbox of electronic personnel databases (i.e. the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System-DCPDS). FOR THE GS-12 GRADE LEVEL:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing the duties of a position to determine the correct title, pay plan, series and grade level; 2) Executing recruitment, reassignment and other personnel actions in accordance with federal laws, policies, rules and regulations in electronic personnel databases (i.e. DCPDS); 3) Providing advisory, guidance, and training to managers and command personnel on the hiring process; and 4) Resolving problems, answering questions and providing guidance on complex staffing and position classification problems utilizing Human Resource tools and systems. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience at the GS-11 level:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
OR
