About the Position:
Serve as the Senior Strategic Analyst within the Congressional Operations Division (COD), the Office of the Chief, Legislative Liaison (OCLL) an Army Secretariat level organization. This position is located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Develop performance data to assess the current state of the Congressional mission.
Utilize data analysis skills to evaluate the execution of Congressional engagement plans.
Examine factors through data mining and interpretation to influence congressional attitudes concerning issues and programs.
Synchronize key objectives into legislative strategies for leadership to review/implement.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Travel Required: Up to 10% Business Travel may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conduct research to advise leadership on the state of Congressional engagement plans, programs, and or/issues; formulate summaries regarding Congressional activities; utilize strategic assessments tools to measure the success of the legislative environment; and devise recommendations for use in meeting key Congressional objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
