This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA HC/COMPUTE OPERATIONS OFFICE HC33.
Duties
Plans and assigns work to subordinate supervisors or to personnel who guide and control work.
Makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors and establishes priorities and schedules.
Establishes goals and objectives, long- and short-range planning, and strategic plans, which address and meet the information requirements of DOD customers within a geographically separated, but heterogeneous environment.
Manages plans, policies, and strategy for operations and maintenance of the Hybrid Cloud Broker, and has strong customer engagement, marketing, and sales related skills and experience
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Drug Testing Position.
- Top Secret/ SCI security clearance required.
- This position is subject to Cyber Workforce requirements as defined by the DoD 8140 policy series for the position's required CYBER Work Role(s).

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience executing fiduciary and fiscal planning oversight of expenditures by applying sound fiscal management concepts/practices to maximize current resources within budgetary constraints and providing executive project management and senior level direction over computing resources to include infrastructure optimizations, governance, standardization initiatives, transformation objectives, along with IT-related experience demonstrating Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving as described in the vacancy announcement.
