About the Position: You will perform as a Construction Control Inspector with the Nashville Integrated Project Office Kentucky Lock Resident Office, located in Grand Rivers, KY.

Duties
Perform, or lead others in the performance of, a full range of field engineering functions associated with assigned projects at Resident or Project Office level.
Apply practical knowledge of engineering methods and techniques as they relate to construction.
Perform Construction under rigid completion schedules and requires strict adherence to safety standards.
Participate in or conducts site showings and pre-construction conferences.
Interpret plans and specifications, conferring with contractor to resolve differences of opinion.
Recommend changes in design to cope with at-the-site conditions.
Compile data and prepares a variety of correspondence and reports relating to above.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a valid State motor vehicle operator's license prior to appointment and maintain the license for the duration of employment.
- Position requires employee to serve on rotating shifts.
