About the Position: You will function as a Construction Control Representative with the Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, Integrated Project Office Division, located in Grand Rivers, KY.

Duties

Discuss details of construction with Contractor personnel. Exercise surveillance to assure the Contractor is conducting quality control operations to produce work in conformance with plans and specifications. Make recommendations concerning changes in the contract requirements and assists with preparing rough drafts of requests for proposals. Assure all personnel are aware of the project features that require a thorough knowledge of the safety requirements for working in extreme river conditions. Research problems and drafts responses and/or coordinates review by office staff, A/E, Resident Office or District elements.
