Duties
Staff Action Officer responsible for the oversight of various assignments with unique requirements that demand continuous supervision.
Monitor priority of actions based on the sensitivity of the subject matter, suspense dates, and other pertinent data
Conduct training programs that include training guidance and regulations in order to develop leaders within in the organization.
Implement directives impacting the organization in order for effective planning for essential organization operations.
Analyze organizational processes in order to recommend improvements to procedures.
Develop all operational products used by the Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (JROTC) Directorate to outside organizations for presentations.
Create status reports for higher headquarters concerning the status of actions.
Analyze incoming staff actions in order to assign work and monitor progress of actions.
Evaluate issues to develop recommendations for actions based on analysis of functional assignments throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A one (1) year Probationary Period may be required
- TDY travel may be required up to 30% of the time
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
