About the Position: This position is with the US Army Cadet Command Headquarters located in Fort Knox, Kentcuky.
Duties
Serve as Staff Action Officer, overseeing staff actions, providing administrative coordination, and monitoring sensitive tasks and correspondence.
Complete assignments with guidance provided from higher leadership with regard to program accomplishments, in order to determine general effectiveness and consistency with objectives of the program.
Utilize automated training database to manage the production and development of such materials as Course Administrative Data (CAD) Sheets, Programs of Instruction (POI), Course Management Plans (CMPs), and Course Lesson Plans.
Plan academic programs with multiple training proponents and training consumers within the organization.
Review progress of training materials in order to return them to originator with instructions concerning needed revision
Resolve problems associated with class schedules and enrollments that may be controversial due to unit priorities and deployments.
Review required regulations and policies governing course enrollment, cost, and prerequisites to determine enrollment eligibility and proper funding.

Oversee the enrollment and training completion of civilians and Soldiers of courses conducted.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Business travel required 10% of the time/ Employee required to attend C3P0 training 3rd week from EOD at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
- May require a 1-year probation period.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-11).
