This position is a Maintenance Mechanic WG-4749-9, working in Cibola, Arizona, for the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge. Duties

As a Maintenance Mechanic, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Operate a variety of agricultural tractors and associated implements such as swathers, plows, discs, blades, and mowers. Manage and repair open and closed agricultural irrigation systems. Install, modify, repair, maintain, or troubleshoot new or existing plumbing piping, valves, pumps, strainers, controls or equipment. Perform work using common hand tools and simple power equipment such as hatchets, ladders, screwdrivers, axes, picks, tampers, hand saws, clippers, buffers, grinders, power saws, weed trimmers, low-pressure sprayers, powered push lawn mowers, chain saws, etc. Perform routine maintenance and repair work to light and heavy equipment, and replace worn-out parts.

Qualifications
