This position is a Maintenance Mechanic, WG-4749-9, working in Cibola, Arizona, for the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge. Duties

As a Maintenance Mechanic, your duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Safely load, secure and transport heavy mobile equipment over highways, unpaved roads and in undeveloped areas. Install, modify, repair, maintain, or troubleshoot new or existing plumbing piping, valves, pumps, strainers, controls or equipment. Perform work using common hand tools and simple power equipment such as hatchets, ladders, screwdrivers, axes, picks, tampers, hand saws, clippers, buffers, grinders, power saws, weed trimmers, low-pressure sprayers, powered push lawn mowers, chain saws, etc. Follow and carry out assignments in accordance with established oral or written directions, or established policies and practices. Perform routine maintenance and repair work to light and heavy equipment, and replace worn out parts.
