You will serve as a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC LEADER in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will interpret technical specifications, repair manuals, directives, blueprints, or sketches for the repair, assembly, installation, testing, or maintenance of aircraft, aircraft accessories, and aircraft engine and drive systems. You will diagnose airframe mechanical systems, integrated aircraft systems, subsystems, airframes, and control systems to determine method of repair. You will determine the tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairing aircraft components. You will adjust aircraft system components to maintain compliance with assembly regulations and procedures.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
