This position is in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Kansas City Region and will be located in one of the Region’s Field Offices. The selectee will provide support in performing technical and administrative duties to assist Field Supervisors, Supervisory Examiners, and Examiners for the region's Field Offices, and will support Regional Office administrative functions, as needed.
The duty location will be determined upon selection.
Duties
Maintains the assigned Field Offices' itineraries, organizational charts, and Employee Directories and assists with updating Emergency Preparedness Plans.
Prepares STAR Award Certificates and Certificates of Appreciation, order flowers and fruit baskets for expressions of sympathy and acknowledgments of personal events, and orders refreshments for meetings.
Supports the region's Field Supervisors and Supervisory Examiners in performing administrative duties for departing employees, including the collection of FDIC-owned property and the preparation of applicable administrative forms.
Creates and monitors WEBTA examination accounts, training accounts, and other accounts.
Reviews employees' WEBTA Reports to verify accuracy, enters edited/corrected data into the computer system, and assists management with processing WEBTA time sheets.
Provides clarifying guidance to management and examination staff on WEBTA and leave issues, tracks FFLA/FMLA leave and credit hours, and prepares leave audits.
Reconciles monthly procurement card statements to purchased items and budget considerations, and processes payments applying appropriate cost codes.
Serves as a liaison with building management and/or contractors and technicians from outside vendors.
Solicits supply needs from managers and staff; places and verifies receipt of orders.
Routinely updates staff on administrative matters via email.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-6: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-05 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience serving as a timekeeper, tracking activities and project suspense dates, and using software to prepare written materials and reports, and storing and maintaining electronic files.
