You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the INDUSTRIAL LOGISTICS DIVISION, MRO LOGISTICS DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will negotiate supply support matters with other logistics functions for assigned systems, equipment, or platforms
You will implement an integrated logistics support (ILS) plan of action and milestones in support of an aviation program.
You will explain program technical matters on enterprise product life-cycle management support.
You will collaborate with cost analysts to determine acquisition and life-cycle costs for programs.
You will analyze logistics support strategy to evaluate program life-cycle costs.
You will resolve life-cycle procurement specification matters for assigned equipment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position requires rotating shift work.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing integrated Data Environment components including Optimized Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System. 2) Efficiently applying knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DON) policies and procedures at a Level III repair and maintenance facility. 3) Conducting detailed analysis of the various logistics elements and their interrelationships as necessary to meet readiness and supportability objectives of an aircraft weapon system through sustainment phase its life cycle. 4) Interacting with senior government and industry executives, as well as other logisticians, engineers and artisans, both individually and in groups, communicating orally and in writing. 5) Incorporating knowledge of Organic Level III maintenance practices and policies, and how Integrated Product Support elements can be implemented to improve the output of these facilities.
